The real story was in the 2nd set. Rob got up 4-love before I won the next 5 games. We held both our serves to go 6-all and into a tie break which I won 7-3.
It was an amazing set. Rob was swinging away at his serve, there were lots of good, fun long rallies filled with forehands, backhands (my favourite) and even lobs. A real competitive set with see-saw momentum. Both our games are coming together.
Cant think of a better way to spend a Wednesday than tennis then dinner at Brasserie. No picture of the braised lamb shank cause I forgot due to our tennis-induced hunger. Devoured it the minute it was served. Rob said the lamb shank reminded him of a prop from 300. I think that assessment's pretty accurate.
